My Future...

For the past couple days, I have been constantly praying and thinking about my future. I never realized there was going to be so many options from which to choose. In my mind I had formed an outline of what my future was going to look like. As I have been praying and thinking about all the options, God has been showing me I don't have it figured out.
Yesterday as I was studying for a quiz, I read a quote in my notes that was kind of like HELLO! "God is so far above man that man can neither question nor understand." Guess that means I don't have to worry about having the future planned out...
Tonight as I was having devotions, I came across a verse that again reminded me that God really does have this under control. Hebrews 1:10- "You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands." I don't know about you guys, but I think that if a guy created something and then worked with it for a few thousand years, he would know what he was doing. He probably doesn't need my help figuring things out... I need to just be patient, walk in all the light I have now, and leave the next step to God.
I am so incredibly thankful that we have a God we can turn to when we don't have life figured out!!

It Matters To The Master

It Matters To The Master

Verse 1: When life lets you down, and you feel more broken then whole
When the wounds go deeper than words and you can't tell a soul
I may not know what you're going through
May not can make that high mountain move
But one thing I've found that I really want you to know

Chorus: If it matters to you, it matters to the Master
He wants to share the burdens you bear
Whisper peace when your world gets shattered
If it's your greatest joy or your deepest pain
Or you're really needing an answer
If it matters to you, it matters to the Master

Verse 2: Friend, do you think the Maker and giver of life
Is far too busy to care 'bout your trouble and strife?
He sees the sparrow that falls to the ground
And He hears the tears that don't make a sound
If you only knew how precious you are in His sight

I recently sang this song with a friend of mine to a group of high school students. Oh, how I hope they were able to grasp the meaning of this song! It is amazing to know that the Lord of the universe cares about every tiny detail in our lives! God, help me never to forget Your love!
