On Saturday, December 13, Abbey hosted a Christmas recital followed by a tea party. I had to play two songs in the recital, and Abbey played six songs. We videotaped the recital, but had trouble getting it transferred to the computer for posting. Anyway, here are some pictures for you to enjoy.
This is the program mommy typed up.
Above the piano is a vine that daddy pulled down out of the woods, and mommy used it for decorating.
These are the guests we invited to the recital.
Mom, Grammy Hooks, and Roberta Miller planned, prepared, and served the food.
The main menu sweet & sour meatballs, sausage balls, chicken salad sandwiches, vegetable tray, and chex mix.
The desserts were cheesecake, black forest cake, and Christmas cookies.
We served sugar plum spice, and Mrs. Miller's famous Russian tea.
Filling our plates.
At the table.
The doll on the left was one me and Abbey played with. The doll on the right was mommy's when she was little. Both dolls are wearing the same dresses that Abbey and I are wearing in the picture.
